Freedom without the mains: Eura Mobil EFOY plug and play kit

In its luxury class models, Eura Mobil is now going for even more independence. The equipment of the Activa, Contura and Integra series already includes advance cabling for the control unit and the installation holder of an EFOY fuel cell. Even if purchased as an accessory at a later date, this gives the customer the opportunity to snap the fuel cell into the holder with just a click and for it to be operationally ready without any conversion work required in the vehicle. Ex factory, Eura Mobil promotes the purchase of a fuel cell at the same time as the vehicle through a particularly attractive price on the fuel cell unit. Power ranges of 1200 Watts and 1600 Watts are available. Thanks to the large storage space in the double floor, the fuel cell can be installed in the “cellar“ of the camper van to save space. The heated and insulated installation site additionally prevents a loss in power in the fuel cell in the case of low outdoor temperatures.

Unlike solar cells, the batteries can be buffer charged independent of the weather or time of day, which means that batteries partially drained during the day can be recharged at night independent of the mains.

Eura Mobil is thus strengthening its position as a manufacturer of camper vans with a high degree of independence from utility supplies. Together with the double floor concept and the large water tank capacities, this provides the greatest possible opportunities for leisure and freedom. In this, the manufacturer is addressing the needs of their customers: the continuous double floor allows extensive, space-saving installation of additional equipment, and also allows the customer to choose how to divide the storage space and when the fuel cell is to be installed - and it can also be removed from the vehicle to allow loading of other equipment.
